Who are the Tuskegee Airmen?
The Tuskegee Airmen is the popular name for the first African-American pilots to serve in the United States military. Officially they were called the 332nd Fighter Group, and they overcame racial discrimination to serve their country and were instrumental in the United States victory during World War II.
