Leadership

Captain Benjamin O. Davis, Jr. was chosen to lead the 99th Fighter Squadron, the first group of fighter pilots sent on a mission to North Africa. After returning to the States, Davis took command of the 332nd Fighter Group, where he solidified his reputation as a formidable leader.
