Ernie Davis (Rob Brown) is an exemplary football player whose skills lead him to play for head coach Ben Schwartzwalder (Dennis Quaid) at Syracuse University. Upon entering the 1959 season, Davis enters a journey of perseverance as he combats racism, injuries and skepticism to become a football legend.

Based on the true story of Ernie "Elmira Express" Davis, this inspirational film highlights the events that led Davis to become the first African-American player to win the Heisman Trophy. Tune in on February 4th, 2012 at 7:30P/6:30 for the premiere of The Express.
