Toni Morrison

Not many people know that before Toni Morrison was penning her own books, she started off as an editor at Random House, editing the likes of Angela Davis and Toni Cade Bambara. It wasn’t until the age of 40 when Morrison wrote her first novel, The Bluest Eye. Morrison went on to write nine more novels, including Beloved and Sula
