Third Time's the Charm

As I Am, Keys' fourth studio release, was also her fourth consecutive number-one album, tying her with Britney Spears for the most consecutive number-one debuts on the Billboard 200 by a female artist. It sold nearly 750,000 copies in its first week and sold nearly 6 million worldwide. And according to Billboard.com, from October 2007, when "No One," the first single off As I Am, reached No. 1, through February 2008, when Keys' second single "Like You'll Never See Me Again" ended its reign at No. 1, Keys was on top of the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart for 17 weeks, more consecutive weeks than any other artist with the singles, "No One" and "Like You'll Never See Me Again."
