Ty-Licia Hooker

Ty-Licia Hooker is making waves as one young woman that wants to see children recieve an education in order to advance in society, especially those that are at risk. With hope in the future leaders of America, she inspires.

who she is

Ty-Licia Hooker a graduate of the University of Pacific in Stockton, Calif. where she received a degree in political science with an emphasis in education policy and ethnic studies. As an active volunteer in the community and president and founder of STORM (a community outreachprogram) and the Summer Success and Leadership Academy, she has influenced the lives of hundreds of at-risk youth, inspiring them to follow their dreams despite the dire circumstances that surround them. For her efforts, Hooker has received a number of awards and accolades. She has been recognized by her university's Enough is Enough Campaign for her contributions in reducing violence in her community and by the NAACP as a Great Debate Champion.
