In 1962, before Tito and his brothers were known as the Jackson 5, they performed under the name The Jackson Brothers.
Tito took to playing the guitar at a young age. He started playing his father's guitar at the age of 10.
After first performing in school functions and supermarkets, the brothers began participating in local talent shows when Jackson was 12. By then, his younger brother Michael, then seven, had become the official lead singer of the group.
In 2003, Tito Jackson launched his solo career and started performing all over as a blues musician.
The brothers helped to officially launch the boy band movement. Back in 1968, they released their first single "Big Boy" under Steeltown Records.
Tito Jackson was blessed with three sons and six grandkids.
In 1969, The Jackson 5 signed with Motown Records and scored several hit songs, including the No, 1 single "I Want You Back," "ABC," "The Love You Save" and "I'll Be There."
