Jessica Reedy - <B>BET.com:</B> Talk about when you became saved.<br><Br><B>Jessica: I got saved because I didn’t have any peace. I couldn’t sleep at night. I was tired and crying every single second of the day. I told God I needed some peace. I started slowly changing my outlook on life. I started training my thoughts. It’s extremely hard to always stay focused on God. I don’t have time for nothing but God. I didn’t want God to be mad about nothing. I just got obedient.

I wanna sing outside the church. Who is going to save the clubgoers? Who thinks about them? I don’t think that God blessed me from what I used to do to think I’m better than anyone else.

Every rehearsal that’s all I talked about. I think mentor Donald Lawrence got tired of me. He was just like, 'would this girl shut up about this range thing. Who cares? Stop it.'

Jessica Reedy - <B>BET.com:</B> Why do you sing gospel and not secular?<br><br><B>Jessica: I sing Gospel because I love God. I don’t want to be a double minded person who stands for something, but goes a different way. Why wouldn’t I want someone to know the God I serve? Not saying anything’s wrong with other music, but I love God. I want to make it to Heaven. While I’m here on earth, I want God to be happy with me.

People are getting caught up in 'I don’t sing like a gospel singer.' How does a gospel singer sing? It’s about what’s being delivered, not how it’s delivered. </B>
