The Pitts' Stop Block Debate: Did Derwin Do It On Purpose?

Uh oh, looks like Derwin is in hot water with Sabers' fans and media. If you didn't have the inside scoop, would you think he did it?

Now, we all know Derwin Davis to be a non-drinking, church-going, college educated sweetheart. He's less likely than Melanie to scheme, and all his less-than-finer moments have come from getting swept into the bright lights and call of stardom (a.k.a when he cheated on Mel with singer Drew Sidora). No one would have EVER seen this coming!

Out of frustration for new quarterback Kwan Kirkland's endless disrespect and because the Sabers were losing this all too important game, Derwin snapped in the lockeroom and got into a physical altercation with Kwan. Derwin was desperate. So he did what he thought was his last resort: Missing the block that would have allowed Kwan to touchdown. Even more terribly, the defensive end smashed Kwan to the ground causing him a season-ending inury. The upside? Malik's back as quarterback! The downside? Fans and media aren't too fond of Derwin at the moment, and even speculating that he missed the easy block on purpose.

You decide. If you were the NFL commissioner, and you had to review the tape above, would you think that Derwin did it on purpose? Comment below and let us know!
