The Discontent Begins
Melanie wanted to take a more active role in she and Derwin's family, and since Tasha no longer represented Derwin she thought it was her wifey duty to step in. Derwin isn't so sure about this, and signs with Irv Smiff (under Melanie's ahem, guidance) instead. But did Melanie really want to be Derwin's agent? Or was she really yearning for the career and independent woman status that she once had? Here we see hints of her discontent begin.
