Faith and Mary

Evans and Mary J. Blige were kindred spirits in the male-dominated world of hip hop and R&B. Their collaboration began on Blige's 1994 album My Life, which led to her discovery by Diddy, and Blige returned the favor by offering guest vocals on the track "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" from Faith's debut album. The track highlighted their distinct vocal styles while still demonstrating Blige's influence on the emerging star.   (Photos from left: Kristian Dowling/PictureGroup, Brad Barket/PictureGroup)
