General Guidelines

  • All ads must open a new browser window when clicked.
  • All advertising is subject to BET.com creative and standards approval.
  • BET.com reserves the right to apply a frequency cap to campaigns with floating ads or pop up windows.

 

File Formats

  • .gif, .jpg, or .swf files must be used
  • .swf must provide an alternative .gif  

Sound

 

All sound must be initiated by a user click. Once clicked, sound may start. Advertisement must have an always present, clearly labeled on/off button.

 

Surveys and Polls

 

All surveys/polls must have a disclaimer stating the fact that the information collected is not collected by BET.com and have a link to the clients Privacy Policy.

 

Sample:     Personal information in this advertisement is collected by (Company Name), and is not collected or used by BET.com in any way.  Please read (Company Name) Privacy Policy
