You Won't Believe How Far Kim Kardashian Went to Get Her Face Right for the Met Gala

This makes Kanye's contacts look like child's play.

Impressed with Kim Kardashian's Met Gala glow? Well, the reality star reportedly went to some pretty serious lengths to get it.

A source reveals that the mother of two was so determined to look youthful and flawless for her big post-baby night out that she employed some techniques usually used by doctors to achieve a perfectly rested appearance.

Kim reportedly hired a company called The I.V. Doc to give her their "Beautify" treatment, which administers a cocktail of B vitamins and anti-inflammatory medication through an I.V. in order to rejuvenate the hair and skin. The treatment may sound extreme, but costs a comparatively modest $399.

"She wanted to have a glow for the red carpet," the source tells Page Six. "So she ordered a treatment with plenty of vitamins along with fluids and electrolytes."

A spokesperson for the company that administers the I.V.s declined to comment on whether or not Kardashian used the service, citing the Hippocratic oath as a reason. The service is described as an "energizing 30-minute, intravenous hydration therapy" used to treat "hangover, flu, jet lag, exercise fatigue, food poisoning, and general exhaustion." All sound like things a jet-setting mom of two has to deal with!

According to the source, Kanye did not partake in the process, despite having his own pre-Gala additions made. The source also mentioned that Kim was not in the mood for chitchat, as "any conversation and instructions were directed through an assistant," the source said.

A rep for Kim denied that she received the treatment.
