Mariah Carey can do no wrong in most people's eyes, even when her choice of outfits makes our eyebrows go up. The accomplished diva has given us tons of iconic style moments — from swimming in high heels to making pizza (really, doing everything) in lingerie — but there are a few looks from her past that even have her shaking her head.  
 
The singer recently opened up to PrideSource about a number of things, from her musical evolution to the loss of so many legends this year, but it's her comments about her '90s-era style that really grabbed our attention.

Asked what present-day Mariah thinks of '90s Mariah, she responds, "Ah, I don't knoooow! I was such a kid, just in over my head, but I knew that I was gonna do this for my life and soooo: I probably would've been like, 'Who does your hair and makeup?'" 

She continues, "'Cause they had me with some people who didn't know what they were doing and I knew it wasn't really good and I'd just be like, 'Who does your lighting, hair and makeup?' is what I'd ask her. It was just like, ahhh, such a long story. You don't even wanna know."
