Gabi Gregg Reveals What It’s Like to be a Member of Khloe Kardashian’s #GoodSquad

Find out how she snagged a spot in the illest girl gang.

If you’ve ever wanted know what it felt like to be a part of an elite squad dedicated to bringing denim to the sexiest, curviest and strongest of fashionistas than ask Gabi Gregg. That’s what we did! BET Digital got the chance to ask the plus-size fashion blogger of Gabifresh.com about being a member of the #GoodSquad, a girl gang spearheaded by none other than Khloe Kardashian to promote her new brand Good American.

Gabi joins the ranks of amongst nineteen other good girls, like Tori Brixx and Jordyn Woods, to spread their message of body positivity to the masses armed with jeans ranging from sizes 0-24. The game-changing line that vows to bring flattering denim to everyone definitely requires some game-changing women, and Gabi fits the bill. She’s a consistent face at the forefront of plus-size style with her own swimwear line, fashion campaigns and a few magazine spreads like Ebony’s Body Brigade issue released earlier this year, already under her belt.

Scroll down to find out everything from her favorite pair of Good American jeans to what it’s like to work for Khlo Money.

BET: How did you become a part of Khloe Kardashain’s #GoodSquad? Like did she just call you up? Did you guys know each other previously?

Gabi Gregg: Khloe and I definitely didn't know each other previously! The Good American team emailed me asking me to come into the casting call. Unfortunately I was out of town, but luckily we were able to set up a Skype session. I was so relieved they let me do that.

B: What was your initial reaction to the news?

GG: I was super excited to even be considered and I kept waiting for the email that would let me know whether or not I was chosen! When I found out I'd be involved, I was on cloud 9 for at least a week.

B: What makes Khloe a good #GoodSquad leader?

GG: Khloe is not only gorgeous—she's really sweet and humble. The entire family is hardworking and kind, even though they put up with so much from the public. It's amazing to watch them work and focus on the positive with all the craziness and criticism surrounding them constantly.

B: Do you have a favorite style from the line?

GG: I really, really love the style I wore in the campaign—Good Legs. They fit me perfectly.

B: Thick, Curvy, Voluptuous, etc.—with all the terms being used describe plus size models, which you prefer? Why?

GG: I prefer plus size because it's simple and descriptive...I like curvy too, but to me that describes more of a shape than a size.

B: It’s an awesome time to be a plus size model, and Good American jeans are a step in the right direction. What strides to you hope to see plus size models conquer next?

GG: Well Good American is one of the first brands to really incorporate plus sizes and models with no differentiation or separation, which is what I've been wanting for a long time. I want to see more campaigns with true diversity and no gimmicks. Just fashion! Plus-size features or special magazine issues are cool, but when we are truly included throughout editorials and ads, that will be true progress.

B: Any other collaborations or projects we can expect from you soon?

GG: I shoot my next swim collection very, very soon! It comes out in January!!
