This Mom Breastfeeding While Working Out Is the Most Amazing Thing You'll See All Day

Just call her Supermom!

Try telling a mom she can’t do it all and she will prove you wrong again and again, especially this mom. Albuquerque, New Mexico-based lifestyle and fitness coach Monica Bencomo decided that she wasn’t going to let breastfeeding stop her from reaching her long-time goal of competing in a bikini fitness competition, nor was she going to sacrifice this important mommy-daughter bonding time. The solution? Combine her workouts with baby Ariel’s feeding time. Of course, she documented her multi-tasking moves via Instagram for some ultimate mommy fitspiration.

Monica’s story dates back to a time post-high school graduation when she was battling depression. She cut out fast food, her new healthy lifestyle kicked in and her dream of entering a bikini fitness contest was born. The next few years, she developed her lifestyle fitness brand, Moms Wear Heels, where she coaches women and moms internationally on how to own their sexy. Two kids later (her oldest, Eliel, is 4 years old) and just 11 months after giving birth to her daughter Ariel, she pursued those bikini body goals and then some.

Finding time to work out while nursing her particularly clingy daughter proved to be problematic. That’s when Monica, 30, decided to do both at the same damn time.

"I know I could [have dropped] my kids off at the daycare and [gotten] a good, uninterrupted workout in, but my kids [were] happier this way, and it [worked] for us," Monica tells Cosmopolitan.

It worked in more ways than one. Not only did she make the finals, her kids got to enjoy quality mommy-and-me time while developing healthy habits. Post-competition, Monica still continues to share videos (often to infectious tunes from Beyoncé and Fergie) of her exercising at home with now-18-month-old Ariel in tow to inspire other moms.

Scroll down to see her moves that include hitting squats, side raises, hammer curls and more all while breastfeeding.

AMAZING, we know. But of course, she gets trolled by critics questioning her parenting and even saying they're going to report her to child services. When it comes to her kiddos though, Monica uses common sense and would never try a move that would endanger them.

“It is my hope my kids will respect that their mom didn't give up on her dreams after having them, but rather that I did my best to include them in my lifestyle," she says.

So what was your excuse for not hitting the gym today?
