Kim Kardashian Shows Up To Slay New York Fashion Week In A Gray Wig And Skin-Tight Vinyl Dress

Blonde. Latex. Wet hair. It's fashion week, y'all!

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's the mother of dragons! SIKE, it's Kimberly Noel Kardashian West at New York Fashion Week, here to inform the public that she is back on the scene. Did you miss her?

Though two of Kimber's closest fashion allies will cease to present at this season, she was not about to let that rain on her fashion parade! Ah yes, with yesterday's news that her husband, Kanye West, has canceled his September 13 scheduled show, we wondered if one half of the #WorldsMostTalkedAboutCouple would dare to go stag at the Super Bowl of fashion— alas, she has, and not quietly!

Kim's other fashion comrade Riccardo Tisci, who convinced Ye to wear a kilt in public, will also not present, as he has recently left his post as creative director of Givenchy. You may recall that Kim's first platinum fashion week moment was at Tisci's Givenchy show in 2015. With the absence of venues to flaunt the looks we'll be talking about until next season, Kim found herself in the market to make a style splash.

Enter Tom Ford. The designer that architected a career around raw sex appeal would provide the perfect show in which KKW could display her carefully planned fashion week 'fits. Evidenced above, the custom LaQuan Smith look she wore to last night's Tom Ford show oozed sex appeal — and consequently was extremely Kim.

We've got a platinum fashion week moment, a latex moment, Cher-hair moment, wet hair look moment, and a topical trend moment (Daenerys Targaryen, is that you?), all wrapped into one. It's a LOT of look — and that's why it works.

Kimmy went big for the first night of NYFW — but we've still got a week left! What look will she go for next? We'll keep you updated, as we're sure there are plenty more krazy looks to come.
