The Internet Had A Lot to Say About Remy Ma's Skintight Gucci Catsuit

Looks like she got roped into a style-off with Jeffree Star.

In Nicki Minaj's delayed response to this year's most publicized rap beef, she spat the following: "Soon as I wake up, keep an eye out for the snakes."

While she was referring to the person now considered her rap nemesis, Remy Ma, we gathered that Nic was simply relaying a metaphor. Life imitates art, though, because last night, Remy wore a head-to-toe snakeskin look that probably has Taylor Swift mad that she didn't rock the look first.

While performing at last night's VH1 Hip-Hop Honors, Remy leaned all the way in to the snake motif. She also displayed her fashion-forward sensibilities while rocking the color that was all over last week's runways: safety orange.

In an attention-commanding 'fit, Remy sported a skin-tight Gucci snakeskin-patterned jumpsuit from its autumn/winter 2017 collection. The outfit drama didn't stop there, though. Remy adorned her 'fit with LaQuan Smith's laceup stilletto thigh-high boots. Designer JunJie Yang, fresh off the heels of winning the VFILES emerging talent competition, was lucky enough to outfit a celeb in the form of Remy rocking his puffer coat.

The internet sure had a lot to say about this 'fit. There were those who couldn't get past the fact that a puffer coat in a vivid color resembles a sleeping bag:

Others were more offended by her overall looks in general, with many people even calling on Remy to fire her stylist (or hire one, if she doesn't have one):

Sheesh! If that wasn't enough negativity to make you want to charge your crystals and reprogram their intentions, get this. It just so happens that Jeffree Star wore the exact same Gucci jumpsuit. The Shade Room knew what they were doing when they asked who wore it better, and you already know the commenters didn't hold back.
