12 Years a Slave

Film Hitting theatres nationwide on October 18, 2013, 12 Years a Slave is a historical drama based on the eponymous autobiography of former slave Solomon Northup. The film details the story of Northup, a free man from Saratoga Springs, New York, who was sold into slavery and forced to work plantations in Louisiana for 12 years.
