Andre 3000

This Atlanta,Ga., native (aka André Benjamin), comprises half of the eclectic pop-rap duo Outkast. Along with rapper Big Boi (who he met in high school), the two are best known for their genre game-changing albums ATLiens, Aquemini and the double album, Speakerboxx/The Love Below which won a Grammy for Album of the Year in 2004. Andre’s half of the album, The Love Below garnered the group its biggest pop hit singles, “Hey Ya” and “Roses.” As an actor Benjamin has appeared in the films Be Cool, Four Brothers and Revolver. In 2006, Outkast released the film fantasy musical, Idlewild.
