Angel Haze

After releasing her second project, the EP Reservation, via the Internet in July 2012, the name Angel Haze has garnered serious buzz in the hip hop industry. The young rapstress participated in the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards cypher and made noise with her interpretation of Eminem’s classic track “Cleaning Out My Closet,” where she discusses her experiences with rape and molestation as a child. In early January 2013, the budding star gained even more attention when she released a diss track entitled “On the Edge,” which is supposedly aimed at fellow female rapper Azealia Banks. That same year, she leaked her debut LP, Dirty Gold, weeks before its official release on December 30.
