Antoine Dodson

In July 2010, Antoine Dodson became an internet sensation when his angry rant on a local Alabama news station sparked a slew of music mixes, most notably an auto-tuned parody by the Gregory Brothers. Dodson, enraged by his sister's attempted rapist (whom he fought off), addressed the unknown predator and warned fellow Lincoln Park residents in Huntsville, Alabama, "Hide yo kids, hide yo wife," thus giving birth to the "Bed Intruder Song." The popularity of the viral hit led to features on late night shows, interviews, business deals and iTunes sales, which helped the overnight star move his family out of the projects. Alongside Michael Gregory (of the Gregory Brothers) Dodson performed "The Bed Intruder Song" at the 2010 BET Hip Hop Awards.
