Big Tymers

Rap Group Consisting of Cash Money Records co-founder Baby and the label’s in-house producer Mannie Fresh, Big Tymerz were one of a deep list of Cash Money acts to rock the airwaves and shape hip hop’s late ‘90s “bling era.” Their debut and follow-up LPs, How You Luv That and How You Luv That Vol. 2, garnered the duo enough publicity to help push their next two discs—2000’s I Got That Work and 2002’s Hood Rich— to the top of the pop charts. At a time when hip hop enjoyed its greatest commercial success, Big Tymers provided material-flossing anthems like “Number One Stunna” and “Get Your Roll On.”
