Singer The perfect blend of soul, jazz, gospel and hip hop, BJ the Chicago Kid gives his fans an unforgettable experience every time he opens his mouth to coo a note. He got his first big break in the industry penning a song for Dave Hollister's Things in the Game Done Changed Up, and the singer/songwriter has been on a hot trail ever since. Whether singing background for Usher, Mary Mary and Kanye West or crafting lyrics for the likes of Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott and Musiq Soulchild, the young Chicagoan has quite the track record. His dynamic digital LP Pineapple Now-Laters (February 2012) helped him land a deal with Motown, where the soul-stirring singer is currently working on new music.
