Their platinum-selling self-titled debut opened up the doors for major opportunites, including a role in the 2000 teen comedy Bring It On. After being removed from iTunes in 2007, their second album, Blaque Out, was re-released on the site in December 2011. On October 27, 2012, 32-year-old member Natina Reed was struck and killed by a car in Atlanta.
