Inglewood, California hip-hop group Cali Swag District started a nationwide dance craze with their single “Teach Me How to Dougie.” Released in 2010, the song climbed to the top of Billboard’s Heatseekers chart, inspiring everyone from Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, Chris Brown and Doug E. Fresh himself to bust a move. But Jay Are, C-Smoove, Yung and M-Bone are determined not be one-hit wonders. The fresh, lyrical group’s debut album, The Kickback, also features “Where You Are,” which samples the 1972 Michael Jackson hit “I Wanna Be Where You Are.” CSD recently collaborated with celeb hotspot Millions of Milkshakes to launch their own Swagger Stupid Shake.
