Calvin Johnson

NFL Player With an intimidating size and capacity for speed, it's not hard to see why Calvin Johnson has earned the nickname "Megatron." A wide receiver for the Detroit Lions, the rapid runner is also called the "Bolt" for his similar height and velocity to Jamaican Olympian Usain Bolt. The former two-time college All-American's swift skills have allowed him to set and break multiple records, including Jerry Rice's single-season bar for receiving yards, the NFL's most consecutive 100-yard games (eight) and a tie with Hall of Famer Michael Irvin for most 100-yard games in a season (11). In March 2012, Johnson made another milestone by inking a $132 million eight-year extension with the Lions, one of the largest contracts in sports history. (Photo: Al Bello/Getty Images)
