Cash Money Records

Record Label Cash Money Records is a New Orleans-based label founded by brothers Bryan (aka Baby) and Ronald (aka Slim) Williams in 1991.The label rose to prominence throughout the 1990s with the release of the Hot Boys, a popular Southern rap crew comprised of Juvenile, B.G., Turk and Lil Wayne.  The multi-platinum group spurred several successful solo releases expanding the reach of the label into the 2000s. In 1998, they reportedly signed a $30 million distribution deal. The Lil Wayne-helmed Young Money Entertainment label is a subsidary of Cash Money.
