Rapper Living a life of extremes, Cassidy experienced immediate success when his debut album Split Personality went gold with the 2005 release of “I’m A Hustler,” produced by Swizz Beatz. But the Philadelphia-born rapper (Barry Adrian Reese) career stalled after an involuntary manslaughter conviction sent him to prison for nearly a year. Soon after his release, Cassidy was seriously injured in a car crash, but he returned with another Swizz Beatz banger, “My Drink And My 2 Step.” He released the mixtape Apply Pressure on NBA star Carmelo Anthony’s Kross Over Entertainment label.
