Cedric The Entertainer

Born Cedric Antonio Kyles, Cedric The Entertainer worked his way from local comedy clubs into national television appearances on Showtime at the Apollo and Def Comedy Jam and hosting Comicview on BET. Soon, after landing a role on The Steve HarveyShow, Cedric appeared on the silver screen in such movies as Barbershop, Cadillac Records, and Talk To Me and in the Spike Lee-directeddocumentary The Original Kings of Comedy, opposite Harvey, the late Bernie Mac and D.L. Hughley. On the small screen Cedric could be heard as a voice actor in such animated shows as The Proud Family and The Boondocks.
