DJ Spinderella

Best known by her stage name, DJ Spinderella, Deidra Roper is one-third of the legendary hip hop group Salt-N-Pepa. As part of the trio, Spin contributed to five successful albums and several platinum and gold singles. After the group disbanded in 2002, she went on to host an old school-themed hip hop radio show in L.A. called "The BackSpin" from 2003 to 2006, followed by "K-Soul" in Dallas a few years later. In 2005, Salt-N-Pepa reunited on the stage of VH1's second annual Hip Hop Honors and the acclaimed DJ also joined the group for a special performance at the 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards.
