Eminem

Rapper/Producer/Actor Often cited as one of the greatest rappers of all time, Eminem is also one of the few hip hop artists to win both a Grammy and an Oscar. (His song "Lose Yourself" from his 2002 screen debut 8 Mile won an Academy Award). Raised in a Detroit trailer park, Marshall Mathers drew artistic inspiration from his troubled personal life, creating the diabolical alter ego Slim Shady. His work with producer Dr. Dre has resulted in a string of hit singles and multiplatinum albums. After a battle with prescription drug addiction, Eminem made a triumphant return to hip hop in 2010 with his Grammy-winning album Recovery.
