Rapper/Actress Unleashed as "the pitbull in a skirt" on the Ruff Ryders label.  Eve (born Eve Jihan Jeffers) became a superstar amongst a new class of female MCs in the late '90s.  Her first album Ruff Ryders First Lady went double platinum and solidified the Philadelphia-bred rapper as a hip pop sensation.  The platinum selling Scorpion and gold-selling Eve-olution soon followed.  And, like many of her Ruff Ryders bretheren, acting was the natural progression.  After her big screen debut in the classic comedy film Barbershop.  Eve snagged her own self-titled TV series, which lasted for three seasons.
