Gerald Levert

The late great Gerald Levert graced the music industry as both a soloist and member of the R&B groups LeVert and LSG (alongside Keith Sweat and Johnny Gill).  Also known for his duets with his father, the O'Jays frontman Eddie Levert, the sultry soul-singer recorded over 20 albums during his 21 years in the industry.  The Grammy-winning talent wrote and produced for artists such as Barry White, Stephanie Mills, Teddy Pendergrass as well as the O'Jays.  He also dabbled in acting, adopting roles in TV series like The Jamie Foxx Show and The Parkers.  Levert's 10th solo album, In My Songs, was released shortly after his death in November 2010, as well as his first novel, I Got Your Back: A Father and Son Keep It Real About Love, Fatherhood, Family and Friendship.
