Rapper Coming straight out of Staten Island aka Shaolin as a founding member of the Wu Tang Clan, Ghostface Killah distinguished himself with his emotional raps and cryptic slang. Making the transition to a prolific, critically acclaimed solo career, Ghost has recorded nine solo albums (and another half dozen collaborative efforts) all filled with his raw narrative lyrics laid over poignant old-school samples. Although his songs may not enjoy steady radio play, Pretty Toney’s fans are loyal diehards. If there’s an album to be bought or a show to see, they’ll be there.
