Gladys Knight

Gladys Knight is the celebrated R&B/soul singer who fronted the popular family band Gladys Knight & The Pips, before going solo. In the 1960s and early 1970s the group recorded hits under the Motown label, such as "If I Were Your Woman" and the Grammy-winning "Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye)." Post-Motown, Gladys Knight & The Pips scored their biggest hit, "Midnight Train to Georgia." Then the group recorded the Grammy-winning "Love Overboard" in the 80s before Knight launched a solo career with her 1991 debut album Good Woman.
