Gucci Mane

Rapper This Atlanta-based rapper (born Radric Davis) has been recording his rhymes since age 14. He first gained national attention with his 2005 song "Icy" featuring Young Jeezy. Gucci’s garbled down-South flow is catchy and fun, and he has a gift for crafting hooks that stick in your head all day. A frequent collaborator with Swizz Beatz, he’s dropped a trail of hits including “Wasted” and “Spotlight.” The only thing that’s stopped the music are recurring jail stints, but all of his fans—and his protégée Waka Flocka Flame—are always ready for Gucci time.
