GZA

Rapper Gary “GZA” Grice is a founding member of the influential '90s rap group, Wu-Tang Clan. His name, GZA, is shorthand for Genius, the moniker under which he recorded his pre-Wu-Tang debut, Words From the Genius, in 1991. While his first solo effort was met with little fanfare, the 1993 release of Wu-Tang Clan’s multiplatinum debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), offered GZA exposure to a wider audience. Known for his brainy style and word play, GZA also enjoyed a loyal following for his follow-up solo disc, 1995's Liquid Swords
