R&B Group For over 50 years the Isley Brothers have been making rock and soul tinged R&B music that has enraptured generations. Buoyed by lead singer Ronald Isley's angelic falsetto, the group, who are also songwriters and producers, have been responsible for over 20 hit singles including "Shout," "It's Your Thing," "That Lady," "Fight the Power" and "Between the Sheets." The Isley Brothers have amassed 23 gold, platinum and multiplatinum albums over the years and despite their decades in music have managed to stay relevant to younger audiences through their collaborations with contemporary artists like Lil Kim, R. Kelly, Nas and Jill Scott.
