Issa Rae

Upon graduating from Stanford University and attending the New York Film Academy, Issa Rae began exercising her film knowledge by directing and producing music videos and short films. Now the budding filmmaker/writer is garnering lots of attention from major media outlets for her popular web series The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl. It’s her third online show, following the award-winning FLY GUYS Present The F Word and Dorm Diaries.
