Jersey Shore

Jersey Shore was a wildly popular MTV reality show that followed the interactions of housemates submerged in a beach party culture that included tanning salons, free drinking and high drama. When the show premiered in 2009, the cast lived and filmed in New Jersey's Seaside Heights. They also filmed in Miami and Italy. While Jersey Shore was criticized for its portrayal of Italian-Americans, the show became the most viewed telecast in MTV's history, making household names of cast members Snookie, DJ Pauly D and The Situation.
