Judge Mathis

Television Personality Greg Mathis is an attorney and retired 36th district court judge in Michigan. In 1998, his hit legal reality series Judge Mathis premiered on NBC and the former street gang member-turned-attorney became a huge success. The award-winning nationally syndicated show ran for 10 seasons and can now be seen five days a week throughout the U.S. and Canada. In 2002, Mathis published a memoir, Inner City Miracle, and produced “Been There, Done That,” a spiritually inspired play based on his life. In September 2008, Mathis wrote a novel titled Street Judge about a judge who solves murders.
