Singer

Kelis Rogers is an R&B singer and the ex-wife of rapper Nas. She burst onto the music scene with a colorful fashion sense and gripping sound. Kelis screamed for attention on her first single, "Caught Out There," which anchored her Neptunes-produced debut album, Kaleidoscope. While her music caught on slowly in the US, she found instant success in the UK, winning a BRIT Award for International Breakthrough Act in 2001. She has released five studio albums from 1999-2010 and been nominated for two Grammy Awards, including Best Contemporary R&B Album in 2007.
