Kevin Durant

Athlete In 2007, Kevin Durant entered the NBA draft after his freshman year at the University of Texas.  The Seattle SuperSonics (now the Oklahoma City Thunder) picked up the National College Player of the Year as the second overall pick.  He was named Rookie of the Year in 2009 and led the NBA in scoring (30.1 ppg) the following year.  In 2010, he stepped onto the international court and led the USA National team to a gold medal at the FIBA World Championship. And in 2012, he led OKC to the Western Conference Championship title, also making his feature film debut that year in Thunderstruck. During the 2013-2014 season, his won the NBA's Most Valuable Player award.
