Killer Mike

Rapper Born Michael Render, Killer Mike got his first dose of mainstream attention as a guest performer on Outkast's classic LP Stankonia. He made several other appearances on tracks like Jay-Z's "Poppin' Tags" before dropping his debut album, Monster, in 2003. The ATLien hs since released five LPs, signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle and appeared in films such as ATL and Idlewild. In 2011, Killer Mike and his wife opened up a barbershop in his hometown called Graffiti's SWAG in hopes of starting a chain of shops to create more job opportunites for Black communities throughout the country.
