La Toya Jackson

The fifth child of the iconic music family the Jacksons, La Toya Yvonne Jackson is a singer-songwriter, author, television personality, actress and philanthropist. She is also one of the most forthcoming and controversial figures of the Jackson Clan — posing for a 1989 issue of Playboy magazine and penning an autobiography, La Toya: Growing Up in the Jackson Family, which accused her father of physical abuse among other family secrets. Jackson also made a name for herself on the reality TV circuit appearing on a U.K. edition of Celebrity Big Brother, Armed & Famous and in 2011, Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice, where she raised $65,000 for a long-supported charity AIDS Project Los Angeles. That year, she also released a second memoir, Starting Over.
