Laurence Fishburne

Actor/Playwright/Director/Producer Perhaps best known for his roles as Morpheus in the Matrix film trilogy or as Ike Turner in Tina Turner's biopic What's Love Got to Do With It, Laurence Fishburne began acting at the age of eleven.  He broke into television in the early 1980s, playing the role of Cowboy Curtis on Pee-Wee's Playhouse and most recently starred as Dr. Raymond Langston on the CBS crime drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation from 2008 until 2011.  Fishburne has earned two Tony Awards, three Emmys and four NAACP Image Awards, including one for Lifetime Achievement in 2005.
