Her 1990 hit "Vogue" introduced the world to this popular underground dance form. The Grammy winner, who has written children's books, has also appeared in films including her breakout role in Desperately Seeking Susan, as well as A League of Their Own and Evita, for which she won a Golden Globe. In 2008, Madonna was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
