Mekhi Phifer

Thanks to ambition, pure talent and a stellar performance as Strike in Spike Lee's Clockers, Mekhi Phifer has become a prized actor. Ever since his 1995 breakthrough, the guy with the good looks and undeniable charm has played alongside some of Hollywood's biggest talents. He's performed in big-screen hits ranging from Soul Food to 8 Mile; acclaimed TV series such as NBC's ER; and music videos for artists like 50 Cent and En Vogue. Now he's conquered the world of Broadway, taking on the character Flip in the Alicia Keys-produced musical, StickFly.
