Method Man

Rapper Clifford Smith aka Method Man is best known as the husky-voiced rapper from the rambunctious rap collective Wu-Tang Clan.  He has also released four solo discs, starting with 1994's RIAA-certified platinum-sellingTical.  Outside of his Wu-Tang association, he has found a collaborator in Newark, NJ, rapper Redman.  The two have teamed for two gritty party discs, Blackout! and Blackout2.  Method also partnered with Redman on screen for the baked frat house comedy How High, and the short-lived sitcom Method & Red.  As an actor, he has followed up with those comic performances with a serious role on HBO's The Wire.
